Mouse Cage? Empty Mouse Cage?

I plan on getting a male mouse and I was wondering if an Exo Terra cage would be okay for mice?

You can get a regular fish tank and save money Smile Since it is the same I think?

Well Exo Terra has front opening doors instead and I know that I prefer it for my reptiles but I was just wondering whether it would be a good choice for a lil mousy boy.

If it has enough room on the bottom for bedding, it'll be just fine Smile

Exo terra tanks (of the proper size of course) would be fine, though I would worry about them chewing through the screen top. It’s more like metal window screening, which they absolutely can and will chew through. You could look into replacing it or covering it with appropriately sized metal hardware cloth. It’s much thicker and unlikely they could chew through.
