Is my mouse pregnant? Empty Is my mouse pregnant?

Post by kookiesenpai on Wed 14 Aug 2019, 8:43 am

I recently just got my first mice, and one looks like she may be pregnant. I worry because she is in a cage with her two sisters, and I don't know if it could be dangerous for her and her babies. Her energy levels have also decreased a bit. Should I separate them until I know for sure?
Edit: I know their cage might look a bit messy, I plan on cleaning it today.

I can’t tell from the pics if she’s pregnant or just a bit overweight. In the meantime, read up just in case: http://www.petmousefanciers.com/t43-breeding-packet.

Thank you I will read up. She does eat a lot but it seemed like her stomach got bigger quite fast. I didn't think they could gain weight ridiculously fast, so my mind went directly to a potential pregnancy. I'll keep an eye out for any changes.
