Exciting News!
So I'm planning to get more mice within the next couple of weeks, either a boy or a trio of girls depending. But I was looking around to adopt some mice and failed to find any nearby, so I thought "Why not try looking for breeders again?" So after a few hours of extensive research, it turns out there are three active mouseries in Pennsylvania! And even better, I MANAGED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH ONE.
And the very mousery I made contact with pretty much sweeper the last FMBA east coast show! I'm so excited!!! Wish me luck that the arrangements go well!

Well unfortunately, it turns out I misinterpreted where this breeder is located and the mousery is eight hours away as opposed to three.
So unless I can work something out with the breeder, it may fall through. Hopefully I can figure it out though!

Aww, that's too bad! Hope it works out! Maybe you can meet halfway between the 2 towns/cities?CinnamonPearl wrote:Well unfortunately, it turns out I misinterpreted where this breeder is located and the mousery is eight hours away as opposed to three. So unless I can work something out with the breeder, it may fall through. OKAY new development! I found a breeder and managed to make contact with her! She says she has some infertile does she'd be willing to part with. And better news, she's only four hours away as opposed to eight.
If this falls through, I still have the option of adopting, and I can always fall back on pet stores, but I'm really hoping for some well bred mice. ^.^ I will most likely turn down the original breeder even if he offers to meet somewhere in the middle... Some of his practices that came to light concern me. He doesn't take his mice to vets, for example, and I'm not sure how I would feel about adopting mice from a breeder who makes that decision consciously. I'm hoping this new one will prove better.
