Mouse Safe Veggies?
I am wondering what vegetables are safe to be giving to my mice as daily treats and nutrition? Right now, they are being fed cabbage, lettuce, and carrots. Are there any I MUST avoid?

Are you feeding them vegetables in their tank? Mice like to hide food and also are quite willing to eat half of something and just dump the rest on the floor. Vegetable matter can turn bad very quickly and become food for bacteria and fungi. In hot weather chemical reactions occur at a much quicker rate so carrots that would go funky in a week now go funky in 4 days etc.
I wouldn't recommend feeding vegetables or anything that can decompose in their tanks. When i give them stuff like that i make sure it is in their play bins so i can toss out anything they don't eat right away as there isn't many places for them to hide stuff.
Too many vegetables can also lead to diarrhea as it does in people, except diarrhea can be dangerous to mice as they dehydrate quickly. How are your meecers stools?
