Damage Control
So I want to move the new girls into my bedroom where Henry used to live, but I'm really worried that whatever virus or bacteria Henry had could still be lurking. I really don't want anyone to get sick. I've been being careful over the past few days, washing hands thoroughly in between tanks, wearing different clothing when I handle different mice, changing food and water at separate times, etc. But now that I wanna move them to my bedroom, what precautions should I take to ensure that this virus or bacteria is wiped from my room? I'm about to launder all the clothes I used to handle Henry, and I'm going to wipe my desk down with a chemical cleaner. Is there anything else I need to do?

That should be good... I mean, it's all you really can do. Just make sure to wash/wipe down all the surfaces that the mice will have contact with (bedding/clothes/desk) and wash your hands before handling them... You should be good to go. That's what i do when I lose an animal to infectious disease
