Wish I had found these a long time ago! Empty Wish I had found these a long time ago!

In shopping for my other rodents a few days ago, I found this brand of chews called Tea Time chews. They have dried tea leaves in them, and all my critters went absolutely bonkers for them the second I put them in. My first thought was that I wish I had known about those when I was working with Agent Bauer trying to calm down his OCD. It's got to be the smell that keeps them chewing till it's just destroyed. They didn't last long with my rats, but one would probably keep a mouse busy for two or three nights.

Just wondering if anyone else has ever used these, and putting it out there in case anyone has a mouse they need to constantly distract from something like compulsive grooming or scratching. It's the first non food thing I've found for rodents that really combines chewing and smell.

I've had the tea time twigs but haven't ever tried the leafy ones. My mice did love those little twigs though.

These are the ones I had, on the bottom left.

I'll have to look into those immediately. I have a mouse guest that has OCD. He's in my care for a couple weeks for medical treatment and to try to treat the OCD. As we all know, you've for to come at OCD hard and every little bit helps.

I've never seen those tea time things before but I'm sure I'll find them. Thanks for the tip!

I saw your thread about that in the general chat forum! Hopefully you can get him started on getting the OCD under control.

I've lost a couple of mice from obsessive scratching, anything to help that happening again would be brilliant! I've never seen these tea time things either, it looks like they might be hard to get in Australia, but they look like they will be a great help.
