Popcorning or Something Else?
Hello!
As I was leaving for work this morning, I went to check on my girls, and saw them twitching and jumping around like crazy on their willow tunnel.
They definitely love that thing (they can chew it, rip it up, AND hide in it, what more could a mouse want?) but since I'd never seen them jump like that before I got a bit worried and took the tunnel out of their cage right away.
After looking around a bit, I realized they were probably just having a good time. But is there anything else it could be, or anything I should watch out for? They're hasn't been any changes to their food or bedding recently, so I don't think it's allergies.
Thank you!

Sounds to me like they were just having a good time. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Oh gosh I'm so glad to hear that! I'll put the tunnel back in and let the girls have their fun

Yep. Sounds like happy mice. With mice we call this sparking, but it's pretty much the same thing as a guinea pig popcorning.
