Gerbil Cage Setup ideas?
Hi everyone, so I've been seeing everyone's tanks for their mice and wished that my gerbil tank looked nicer. I just have some boxes, cardboard tubes, chews, and a wheel. I'd like to decorate on a theme, but I don't have any money to spend of my own and my parents don't want to spend any more money on my pets. I'm thinking about drawing and coloring some paper to tape to the outside, just to be a little more fancy. The inside is the most important though
Thanks guys

Thanks guys

Cardboard, wood, wheel, and nice deep paper bedding and gerbils are happy.

Thanks
I already give them plenty of bedding and cardboard boxes and tubes to play with, and they get time out of their 10 gallon tank every day for at least an hour every day. They also get timothy hay to play with every 3-5 days.

Sounds to me you are doing an awesome job with them!

Drawing and coloring a background for your gerbil tank is a fun idea! In the past I've used scrapbook paper for tank backgrounds. Another thing you could use is if you have any wrapping paper sitting around that you like. But drawing something personal for them is a really nice idea.

I'd like to get bendy bridges but I can't afford to buy them much so I might make a Popsicle setup.
