Old but new here
Hi everyone,
Most people consider me a senior and I get AARP fan mail, already but I don't think I am. I have had mice most of my life. I adore them
They are independent little pets and the cutest of all rodents to me. I guess they keep the child in me alive.
I have been breeding mice for wild life rehab for 12 years but have stopped doing this as I started to resent putting them down every week. But at least we gave them a good life while on this earth.
I currently have a 20 gal tank with 3 ancient females and another 20 gal with two litters and three mothers. All three are satin. one is black banded and the other 2 are golden banded.
They are by no means show mice; I got them from the wild life center, knowing that they were pregnant so I cold start with a new family group, which has proven to be the easiest way for them to get along. The young males will sadly have to go back to the center
In another thread I will explain how I keep them smelling fresh
