Greeting all from Australia! I had two little boys back when I was a young teenager, fast forward to now a good few years later my 12 year old daughter was asking what my boys were like and after reminiscing we have decided to add two new little fury whiskered members to the family! we have purchased everything we will need for them so just need the mice hehe... We have decided we will be getting our new family members from our local animal shelter this week. I'm very excited to meet the little ones they have there and then introducing the new additions here

I can't wait to meet your new friends! Do you think you'll get males or females?

Just a heads up in case you didn't know, more often than not males will fight hard and need to be separated from each other. They won't mind living near each other as long as they have their own territories to tend to, though. Smile

Hello I'm new too:) so great to hear your able to adopt from a shelter. Good luck with your new little ones. I have 3 little girls and am learning so much from this forum. People are so friendly and helpful- my new lifeline as I'm a single mouse guardian with few mousey contacts.

we are both very excited! I'm defiantly going for girls this time as I was very lucky with my two previous boys and don't want to risk it if I can avoid it . There is a mother and daughter on their site which I'm really looking forward to meeting but if they are no longer there they have a few other girls looking for a home. I'm reading up about everything possible since there is things that have changed in the years since I have kept mice and I want to make sure I provide the best for them
