Cage Setup/Sad News
A little while back I mentioned potentially getting some mice from an accidental litter but unfortunately do to somewhat morbid circumstances, none of the babies ended up making it. I really just am not lucky when it comes to baby mice. If you didn't read my post about supplies for future mice the litter wasn't mine, it was a local pet store's that had taken in a pregnant mother. I was planning to take in a few of the female babies when they were large enough but sadly now that's not going to happen.
So maybe (at least for a few months) I'm going to take a little break on trying to adopt mice.
But I did end up setting up a bin cage instead of a 20 long! I did this just because I had a bin in my garage that measured larger than the 20 long would have. It didn't measure longer by a whole lot but I already had it so I decide to clean it and "transform" it into a cute little cage! I had already ordered all the not-tank supplies so I'm prepared to get mice when I'm ready. Inside the cage is a 6.5 inch red Silent Spinner, a Willow Tunnel, some Carrot Chews, a Puzzle Playground, a 3 inch grey and blue bowl, a Pink Castle Hideout, some flavored Wooden Block Chews, and CareFresh Complete Bedding. Outside is a hanging Kaytee plastic water bottle with a little duck inside. If it's not safe I'm sure I can find another purpose for the bin.

Those poor little mice! I hope you're able to adopt some in the future. I love you're little setup!
It's very cute!
