can mice see/ maneuver in the dark...??
My girls are kept in a tank in my room, and I'm not in there a lot so the light is usually off. I also have blackout curtains that are actually a little tricky to open, so it's pretty dark in my room, even during the day. I'm getting glow in the dark stars to put on the outside of their cage soon, so there'll be that, but the stars fade pretty quickly & recharge with light. So i just wanna know if they're okay being in the dark, or if I'm being a butt for keeping them in a dark room all day

It's definitely best to allow for a natural day/night cycle.
To answer your question in the subject title, mice have poor vision day or night. They rely more on their whiskers, smell, and hearing, though they can detect movement pretty well.

I agree, mice should have the natural day and night cycle as that is natural for them.

They need natural light, at the very least you should get a natural light lamp that mimics sunlight. Sunlight affects the brain in people and animals. They need it.
