my sweet little dwarf hammy Slappy died.  She had developed some rapidly growing tumors in her belly but seemed to die peacefully.  She wasn't even a year old.  She, along with her mother Eva and sister Sprout, came from the pipsqueakery less than a year ago and they are all gone.  Poor things were the result of terrible backyard breeding.

to honor them, I'm getting 2 elderly hams from the pipsqueakery so they can enjoy their golden years at my house.  I'm getting a a 1 1/2 year old Syrian and an old dwarf.  These poor old hams are really sweet just too old for anyone to want to adopt.

Sorry to hear about Slappy's passing. At least the passing was peaceful. And even though her life was short, she had a wonderful life with you. Very nice to adopt two elderly hammys. When will you be getting them?

I'll be headed to the Pipsqueakery for a few days at the end of October and I'll be coming home with 2 new old hams!

I'll also be getting a sweet little robo ham from a real breeder next month, so not only is he adorable, he's also healthy, young, and friendly. His name is Squiggy. I can't wait to meet him.

everyone's bins are all ready, now I just need some hams.

So sorry to hear about Slappy but I commend you for adopting the older hamsters. Thanks for sharing your story, though sad, the other part renewed my hope in humanity! Angel
