Emergency!!
So ive had my mice for well over 3 months now and last night they seemed fine. Running on wheel and all... but they are super SUPER skittish and so its hard to notice small details but today all of a sudden i went to fill their food dish and no one moved... i lifted the house to see them both wobbling out very slowly, squinting, and what appears to be swollen feet. Both of them! Im so scared they might be dying but i have no idea what to do and its midnight here so i cant go anywhere... does anyone know what this could be?!?! thanks you so much in advance for any feedback
**edit: the more skiddish of the two even let me stroke her without getting scared.... that says a lot in terms of fatigue i think

Re: Emergency!!
Can you post pictures of them? That's unusual. I'm not really sure what you could do except make a vet appointment as soon as you can. The sooner the better. It's definitely not a good sign when they let you touch them if they normally don't. I find that happens a lot when they aren't feeling well. Good luck, I hope they are okay! Just keep them comfortable the best you can until you can get them what they need.

Unfortunately i cant provide a photo right now.. but oddly enough its been a bit under an hour now since i first found them like this and they are now eating and drinking water/moving around like normal... i have a theory right now that this could be temperature related perhaps? Im in a basement and ita quite cold id imagine especially for a mouse??

Re: Emergency!!
Without actually seeing how bad it is, I can't say for sure what I think it might be. I've never heard of mice having this sort of reaction to cold weather though. Are their feet still swollen? Glad to hear they are doing better!
