Has anyone looked into cremation or had a pet cremated? Are mice so tiny that it's not worth it? I'm so tired of burying pets. It's not special anymore. Dig a hole, plop them in. There's a service that will cremate pocket pets and such for $85.

Maybe freezing their bodies and then getting a group cremated all together? I might feel crazy for having a little mouse urn, though. Laughing

We've always buried our pets. Even ones that had to be PTS, we've brought them home and buried them.

That's what we've done for the most part too. Last winter the ground got too hard and I ended up with a little baking dish mausoleum in the garage so i could bury them in the spring. Ack.

I've also buried so many pets all over my yard that I dont even know who is where. We're hoping to buy our current house, but if it doesn't work out I dont want to leave my little groups behind. Sad

I heard back from the director and he said I could keep them in the freezer until they've all gone and have them cremated together. Up to ten mice for $85. Whee. I feel much better having a plan for them. Will have to search for a cute memory box or something for them.

That's nice that they'll do a group at once. Smile
