Mouse for Adoption Empty Mouse for Adoption

Post by Aivix Wed 25 Oct 2017, 1:38 am

Not how I wanted to have my first post on the forum, but unfortunately I am terribly allergic to my Perla. She is a female white & tan mouse, a little overweight, and in need of better handling/taming as I haven't been able to do much with her as I break out in hives and get a headache. Worry I've reached out to a friend, but am not sure if she'll be interested in a mouse as she's been wanting a hamster; I do not want to post her on FB/Craigslist even with a pet fee as I'm concerned about someone unscrupulous.

I am in the vicinity of the 10509 zipcode (Brewster, NY). She would go with her toys, unopened bag of food, opened bag of bedding, and possibly her 10g tank w/ screen cover.

Hi,

I see nobody responded to this. I don't know if you still have Perla, but have you googled for a rescue group? I work with one in New England for rats and other small animals including mice. I think Brewster is out of our area, but there are probably other groups closer to you. They normally screen adopters really well.

There's one called Empty Cages Collective in Brooklyn, but there are probably others.
