Help with homemade mix?

Re: Help with homemade mix?
I can't see the pictures but the mix sounds good to me.
I don't have any trouble getting my mice to eat the Science Selective Mouse. In fact, they usually eat it first. But to try to prevent selective feeding I don't refill their food dish until they have eaten most of it. So they eat favorites first, but eventually they have to eat the rest too (trust me they won't starve themselves). I put in an amount where it usually works out to about every other day I need to refill the dish. Pay attention to how much you're putting in and how long it takes them to eat most of it. On full cleaning day, pay attention to how much, if any, food has been stashed or kicked out. If there's a lot, cut back some. If there's none, refill more. If there's just a small amount, perfect.
Empty seed shells just happen. I find some mice leave them in the dish and some kick them out. You just have to pay attention to make sure what looks like a full dish or a big stash isn't just empty seed shells.
