Sherry Mice
Today I rediscovered one of my favourite mouse videos on YouTube. If you guys haven't watched this news story about mice drinking sherry in England, I suggest you do so now
It's only a minute long... ENJOY!

The ladder up to the glass was cute, but eek. I don't know about intoxicated mice.
Yoshi likes to climb into my coffee cup, though. Don't know if he drinks any, but our morning playtime always ends with, "Gee, thanks..."

Oh my. It's better than getting torn apart by a cat. They said they also serve food! That's hilarious. Sherry and hor d'oeuvres for mice. There are so many stories of animals getting into things that intoxicate them and then going back for more. Why should people get to have all the fun?

Re: Sherry Mice
I just love the fact that the workers threatened to go on strike if the mice were harmed
Seems like a good compromise for everyone involved lol

"And the mice are too drunk to care" :drinks:
It's definitely better than being ripped apart by a cat but I do wonder what, if any, long term effects it may have. Love that the workers threatened to strike if harm came to them.

Re: Sherry Mice
I know, not the best for their long-term health, but considering most wild mice usually live less than 6 months (due to predators and other factors), I wonder if they'd even live long enough to see those effects?
Either way, found this funny and quite adorable

True, true. It would be interesting to know if there were any though.
And it is definitely funny and adorable. I shared it with my family and friends on Facebook.

Re: Sherry Mice
My dog used to love beer. People had to hide their beer when they were in my house, any sound of a can opening brought my dog running. One night camping he wandered over to another camp site and got so drunk he came staggering back to our camp site clearly barely able to walk. I guess the campers must of figured out somehow that he liked beer and gave him too many. After that, camping, he had to be watched to make sure he didn't "party" with other people.

Re: Sherry Mice
How did your dog even discover that it liked beer in the first place?

Re: Sherry Mice
I believe my step-dad poured beer in his bowl, while we were camping one day, to see what the dog would do. The dog was begging for the beer, so my step-dad figured it would be funny to watch the dog make a bitter face once it actually tasted it....and to our surprise, the dog lapped it up like it was ambrosia from the gods.
What do you do when your dog's favourite thing, besides perhaps cheese, is beer?
