Proper ventilation in wardrobe compartment?
I know it is risky, but I have a cat and two mice... I think that the mice would be much more secure if i put them in this shelf in my wardrobe that they can have just for themselves (and some bags of bedding) and it would have a door to keep the cat away (and lights to simulate daytime).
If i do this, is there a risk of bad ventilation if i leave the door closed? I don't want to risk ammonia build up or anything too bad... The compartment in my wardrobe is fairly large so... :/

Personally, I wouldn't suggest it. It's kind of like having a solid lid without ventilation. However, I think we might be able to understand better if there was a picture? Maybe your wardrobe has some features that we aren't seeing that could make it okay

I think I would look into adding more ventilation in the sides or back of the wardrobe or on the door. You could cut away an opening and attach mesh or a vent.
