Re: Random Thoughts
Oh, cool! I guess you could probably just make it up as you go, too. I usually do that instead of following patterns anyway. lol
That hole would require some planning... in another picture it showed the mouse standing outside of the cheese. So adorable.

Re: Random Thoughts
Aww. That would be such fun to make
Yeah, it would be a lot "make up as you go along" type thing. I guess you'd have to randomly gradually cast off stitches in the middle, and use stitch holders, then you'd have to gradually increase again until you could knit it all in a row. There's a risk of making a nice diamond-shaped hole though XD It would be fun to experiment with!

Re: Random Thoughts
LOL I'm totally going to try it when I get home. I like a good challenge
And no, crochet makes no sense. How on earth can you make anything with one mingy little hook?

Re: Random Thoughts
I never really got the hang of holding two needles and controlling the yarn. Maybe if I had three hands. Or maybe I can train my toes. lol
I'd love to see it when you're finished! I'm trying so hard to talk myself out of buying yellow yarn... I already have so much extra.

Re: Random Thoughts
Hahaha yeah well you can never have too much yarn... I have two big drawers stuffed full of it, thanks mostly to garage sales, and I still occasionally have to buy some to get the right color!

What lovely patterns!
I should get back into crochet. I haven't done it in a while. I gotta perfect that bunny pattern!

I get yarn from garage sales and thrift stores, too, but I don't have storage for it all. lol I've been using all the extra blue to make a baby blanket lately. Hopefully I won't have to buy more of a certain color to finish.
Hope you and Spongecake have fun, stephlisa! What a cute name.

Re: Random Thoughts
Thanks, he's currently not very happy and seems quite scared and nervous - don't blame him really! Leaving him to settle in and have minimal handling time for a few days.

Have fun with him! I just found out that I'm going to be hamster sitting 3 hamster next weekend (well, thurs-mon!). I get one of each... syrian, dwarf and robo! i'm supposed to teach the silly little robo how to take a sand bath. she's so greasy, but she doesn't use the sandbath in her tank. i'll have to see what i can do about that, lol. just like toddlers, i guess some hams don't want to take their baths either.
they are going to have so much fun! we're going to have a pizza party! i make a fun hamster pizza with rolled out wheat breat (so it's flat), put a little ricotta cheese on it, then worms, zucchini (or favorite veggie) and flaxseeds.

Re: Random Thoughts
Lol Scaredy, your animals are so spoiled! I mean, really, a pizza party?
Sounds fantastic! I need to keep that 'recipe' in mind

Re: Random Thoughts
We're in this apartment place in London, and my eyes keep randomly swelling up. Don't know why, but it seems like an allergy thing? I'm starting to wonder if there were cats in this apartment before, but then I imagine I would be sneezing as well. Â
Or am I just allergic to London? I don't like big cities, that's for sure
Seriously though, I'm totally mystefied! Like I woke up this morning and I wondered if I could even open my eye! I looked kind of Asian for a while there. No offense to Asians—I LOVE Asian eyes, I think they're really pretty, but they're a lot smaller than my eyes XD And its only really at night, too. During the day, I'm totally fine.

Re: Random Thoughts
I'm allergic to washing powders that some hotels use to wash their bed linens - could it be that? I always take a spare something (towel/T-shirt/cotton scarf etc.) To cover pillows with just in case.
Are you enjoying London? London's not so far from me (well an hour or so train)! I'm near Cambridge

Re: Random Thoughts
So I seem to be randomly breaking out in hives since Sunday's walk. That night I had three on my feet! ranging in size from a half dollar to a dime. They were super itchy, yet hurt at the same time. The next morning I woke up to two more on my feet and a couple on my thigh. They faded a lot after just a few hours. Today I have a few on my arm and legs. Most dime sized, one about 3 inches across. Â No idea what's the cause.
Edit: The one on my arm keeps growing so with my sister's encouragement, I took an antihistamine. Probably should of done that sooner.
