Alone or together?
Okay, hello.
So I have a "special needs" mouse. (I only use the quotes bc he's basically normal), he is half blind and deaf. He is neutered (The rescue I got him from neutered all their male small animals) and I have Daisy. Daisy was separated from her sister Sage because Sage wouldn't let her eat or drink water. (Thus making Daisy weak and starving when I found her.) I'm scared to put them back together because I don't know if they even remember each other. Plus what if Sage does that to Daisy again. So, I wanted to know if I should try to put her with Vince. My only concern is that, he gets scared easy. Like what if she accidentally scares him and they fight over it. Or if she tries to talk to him and gets frustrated because Vince doesn't know what she's saying. I know that female mice shouldn't be separated, but should I put her with Vince or is that a bad idea?
Thanks

Re: Alone or together?
Hmm....I would try to slowly introduce all three of them. They often do better in trios, as the "peace maker" prevents some bullying. Maybe someone else will weigh in, though!
My girl is losing her eyesight with old age, but she does great with other mice. They make her feel more secure, I think. Mice adjust good to losing their eyesight, especially albinos, as it was never good in the first place...hearing may be a little different. They smell very well, so he should get along alright.

Trying them all together is an excellent idea! I'm sure old Vince would appreciate the company too. Trios form better bonds and have less bullying.

I agree, I would try introducing all three of them. More on introductions here: https://www.petmousefanciers.com/t19-keeping-mice-together-introducing-them.

Okay, should I try to introduce Vince and the girls at once? Or should I try to do them separately?
