Are these safe?
I've seen quite a few mouse cages that have these being used to hang hammocks, are they safe? Just making sure, I assume they would be since they are made for pets. https://www.amazon.com/WinnerEco-100pcs-Plastic-C-clips-C-links/dp/B072HTJT22/ref=sr_1_35?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1521791742&sr=1-35&keywords=bird+toy+chain
Edit: Also, I was wondering about the safety of giving children's toys to mice? I've seen people using plastic dollhouse kind of things in mouse cages. As far as children's toys go, what is safe and what's not?

Yes, those hard plastic links would be fine to use. As far as children’s toys, I have a few playhouses that I use for the mice sometimes. I look then over to make sure a mouse could make use of them without getting stuck anywhere and look out for soft plastics, wiring, unsafe fabrics, etc to make sure they’re safe. Hard plastics are fine. The Veggie Tales castle I got them hand soft plastic flags at the top but I was able to remove them. The Snow White house I got is electronic but there’s no exposed wiring and I made sure to remove the batteries. You’ll also want to consider how easily cleaned the item is - does it open up, are there hard to reach nooks and crannies - that sort of thing.
