Colorful popsicle sticks?
Hi! I went to the shop to buy some popsicle sticks today but the only packs they had came with mostly colorful sticks. I'm worried if these are safe for my mice or not. They are intended for kids but I'm not sure what they're painted/dyed with.
Additional question: I saw some plain wooden doll furniture for sale, seems to be made from the same wood as popsicle sticks. But they looked a bit rough on the edges. Would they be ok or too splintery?
I'm a mouse newbie so sorry if these questions are dumb; I'm still trying to learn as much as I can!

Re: Colorful popsicle sticks?
I have used colored popsicle sticks before without any issues. I figure if they’re safe for kids and food stuffs, they’re safe enough for mice. But I mostly stick to the plain ones. You can color them yourself with a safe paint or food coloring, if you wanted.
If the doll furniture is made from the same wood (or another safe wood) it’s fine. I would just sand any rough edges.
