Mice fight till bleeding
I ended up having only one female mouse and a couple days later i got another female companion for her. They never had fights and were living fine for weeks until today when they fought. I took them out for play time to try to ease the tension but as soon as I put them back they fought and one drew blood. I immediately separated them due to the severity of the attack. What should I do? Should I keep them separated to protect them or will they get lonely and depressed on their own?

I would try introducing them again in a neutral area. Also I would totally clean out the cage/tank before you put them back in, so that neither of their smells are in there when you put them back in together. I would definitely work to get them back together so they don't have to live out their lives alone. Keep us posted!
