Shaking/shivering mouse???
Hi.
I rescued an older female mouse a couple of days ago. She seems to be shaking and not wanting to move (hunched back). I think I saw her eating so have put her into a cage that has easy access to food and water. As she is still being introduced to the other mice I haven't put her with the others and will keep her separate. Any idea as to what is happening to her? She seemed perfectly healthy yesterday apart from being a bit overweight.
Thanks and please reply soon!

Make sure your water bottle is working or that she can easily use the dish if that’s what you have and that she is eating. Maybe try something soft like scrambled eggs or porridge. I would call a veterinarian too. Hunched back and just sitting around are signs she’s not well - I mean aside from the obvious shaking.
