My mouse Cinnamon is an argente banded female and she has been overweight for about six to seven months now. She doesn't run on her wheel as much as she used to and she is stealing a lot of food from my other to mice. I'm afraid that they might starve or something because they aren't getting a lot of food. Does anyone know how to make her loose weight?
Does she spend much time in a safe secure spot outside the cage? Sometimes they run more if they are outside the cage in a safe spot with their wheel and nothing else. Plus extra attention usually makes them happier, making them want to be more active. You can try talking to her while she is on her wheel.
Do you have more than one type of wheel? Some mice greatly prefer different types of wheels to others.
