Bloated Mouse.
Hi there,
I just recently picked up three new mice. However, last night I noticed that one of the girls was vary bloated and upon further investigation I noticed that didn't seem to be pooping at all.
I freaked out and decided that I would take her to the vet in the morning however she did not survive overnight.
What the heck happened? I was feeding them the same food the breeder has. However, I was told that this particular mouse was only just put into the purchase box.
I'm just so confused and worried that I did something wrong.

Note that the other two are doing really great.
I also have three other girls that I picked up 5 months ago who are very active and healthy.

Likely just an undetected genetic issue or some other problem you couldn't have seen coming, I'm very sorry for your loss, but it isn't your fault! Mice can be delicate, one moment fine, the next not, and a lot of the time there's no way you can or should be expected to know what happened ):
I only asked if she was a Black Eyed White because black eyed white mice are prone to something called Megacolon which could explain what happened, so I was curious.
So long as your other mice seem healthy and happy, it was likely just a coincidence, and not something you could have predicted: Again, I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope you're doing okay.
