Re: Meet James Nibbles!
Thanks for asking! He is the most outgoing, inquisitive mouse I've ever met! Okay, so I've only met the 4 we owned, years ago.
I thought we'd be spending at least a week putting our hands into the cage to get him used to our scent, doing repeated bathtub bonding sessions, etc -- but no, he's all about exploring and discovering!
I do have questions though, and will post them in the appropriate forums!

Aww, he is adorable! He is a very lucky mouse to be adopted out to a great home!
It's definitely not only white mice that can have pink/red eyes, I have seen all sorts of colors that have non-black eyes! In fact, I think siamese mice are supposed to have red eyes according to show standards.
Here is a past mousie I had named Autumn, she was a siamese mouse with red eyes:

He’s the cutest! It’s so nice when you score a mouse that is friendly from the start. They can be some of the best.
I only have three mice left and all the cute pictures around here are giving me the mouse equivalent of puppy fever. (Currently convincing husband that we definitely need a big fluffy white puppy that will grow up to weigh about the same as I do.
