Mouse choking?
My mouse has been hunched in the corner breathing rapidly for about half an hour now, I've been looking online and have yet to find anything relating to her symptoms. When I get close to her I feel like I can almost hear something stuck in her throat but I am not sure. This is the first time I've owned mice and have yet to experience a lot of illnesses so I am not sure what is actually happening. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mouse choking?
It's hard to tell whether or not there's something stuck in her throat, though if you're able to hear that she's breathing, I would guess that it's more likely a respiratory issue. You should definitely get her to a vet as soon as possible, as respiratory problems can be serious on their little lungs.

Hunched over and breathing heavily is a clear sign she is not well. Vet appointment asap. Hope all goes well.
