Newly Adopted Mouse! Empty Newly Adopted Mouse!

Post by PeachesandPepper92918 Sat 27 Apr 2019, 6:12 pm

Hello everybody! I already talked about this in another post, but I thought I would officially introduce her. So today I adopted a female mouse from a local foster-based rescue. I had been told she had been given up by her family because she was “too mean”, and her foster mom told me that you couldn’t really handle her, and she was even bitten the other night. So, I have her now, and I realize she is not at all aggressive, and had just been in the care of people who didn’t know what they were doing. She has a pretty severe wheel tale, to the point where I kind of want a vet to look at it... but otherwise she’s good. She will hopefully join my current group of girls in a month or two.Newly Adopted Mouse! 973d2e10

Note: Her water bottle was only that way for a minute

Honestly I was gonna say on your other post that she might have been labeled "aggressive" by people who didn't really know what they were doing with mice... a lot of animals get tossed aside as being "aggressive" when really they're just new and scared.

Best of luck with your new friend! Smile

We love Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIHM! Tail Flip Walk
Is that half a coconut under the water bottle? Our James Nibbles has half a coconut in his cage -- he likes to nap under it!

I know this was from, like, a month and a half ago, but I just noticed this. It’s actually just a hermit crab hide made to look like a coconut, and I’ve had it for a few years now. I would like to try one of those actual coconut hides though! Ear wiggle
