New mouse randomly passed away?
I got four mice from Petco a few days ago, (I wanted to adopt but none were for adoption near me) and today one of them randomly died. I had her out of the cage and she seemed lethargic, so I tried to feed her but she didn't seem really interested. I put her back into her cage, and came back twenty minutes later to find that she had passed away.
I'm trying to figure out if I had done something wrong, as this is my first time owning mice. I am feeding Higgins Sunburst Hamster & Gerbil Food (planning on switching soon though as the protein is a bit high), and they are living in an ikea detolf with aspen bedding and a few hammocks and toys.
If you have any ideas on what may have happened, I'd really appreciate it. I want to make sure my other mice are going to be okay.

Most likely you didn’t do anything wrong at all. She was probably already sick when you purchased her and with mice, these things can appear to happen very quickly as they’re sooo good at hiding their symptoms. Watch the others closely for signs of illness. Labored breathing, hunched posture, unkempt appearance, etc. If they’re showing any symptoms an appointment with your vet will be needed asap.
I’m so sorry for your loss.

Thank you, you're probably right about her already being sick when I got her.
I'll make sure to watch the others, but they have all fortunately been okay so far.
