For the past three days I'd sometimes see one of my mice excessively grooming the other. Today I noticed she now has bald spots on her head because of it. Why is this? Do they need to be seperated?

There’s a little bit about barbering here: https://www.petmousefanciers.com/t17-itching-hair-loss-and-parasites. A lot of time it can be helped by giving the mouse a lot of activities and extra play time. Basically keep them too busy to overgroom their tankmate.
