Help identifying lump on mouse
I have a mouse who seems to have developed a lump overnight on his back. It's the size of a marble and it's on the outside of his skin. It's black and crusty and pointed. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I don't know if any vets will be open. Could someone help me at least figure out what ballpark this might be in? I'm going to get pictures in just a minute and post them. Thank you.

Hi,
If you haven't gotten it checked out yet by a vet go as soon as you can. Mice can get cysts, cancer, infections etc. but if these are left unattended they can all become fatal. Try not to aggravate it (or the mouse) in the mean time. Keep an eye to see if it's oozing or bleeding, changes in size etc.
