Manly names for female mice
My male friend is possibly getting some female mice soon. While he's decided on a name for a male, he hasn't decided on female names. Personally, I think Butters, Cream, and Coffee, or maybe Sugar and Spice, or other things like that would be too cute. But, y'know, boys are boys :p. So I'd like to have some less fruity name suggestions. I just can't think of any! Thanks for your help guys!
PS the male name he's chosen is Arthur, which is super cute because my hamster's name is Gwindylan, similar to Gwendolyn, the wife of King Arthur. AND he's a history buff so there's no way he didn't see that connection!

Honestly, who’s to say he can’t name his mice male names! I’m sure then mice wouldn’t care
I use more natural names with my mice and it works as a less girly alternatives I suppose. Leaf, Oak, and Raven (and, well, Moo, but she’s a different story) have worked out as great names.

Kali is a good female name that is sort of manly. (Indian Goddess of war or something)
I would just google queens and goddesses of ancient history and then pick whatever ones sound the most manly.

Another angle would be to name the mousie-girls after some classic Hollywood star "beauties", like Marilyn (Monroe), Raquel (Welch), Ingrid (Bergman), Farrah (Fawcett), Elizabeth (Taylor), Natalie (Wood), Sophia (Loren), Loni (Anderson) -- some of those first names that can automatically associate with their famous last name without having to actually say them.
Other people might get a kick out of asking him "How are Sophia, Farrah, and Raquel today?" and end up getting interested in adopting a few mousies themselves.
