Saving Dottie!

Dottie is an amazing little mouse. She is curious, funny, and love life. She was born at our in July of last year and was hand raised. She and her siblings were an unexpected surprise. We though we had purchased all female mice...but one turned out to be a boy! She we have hand raised this cute girl and she has become part of the family. However, Dottie has a growing mass in the front of her body that is needing to be removed. She is otherwise a very happy and healthy mouse. But we urgently need help with the vet bills, cost of surgery, and her after care. We have spent a lot of money over the last several months on vet bills for our family of mice and the cost has become overwhelming. Please help save our little Dottie girl!

So sorry to hear of your struggles, I'd like to suggest creating a donation page on a website like Givealittle or on Facebook, and requesting assistance from family and friends. Or maybe your local animal shelter could provide some assistance for the hardship?

That's quite a burden now, with so many little ones on the brink of their "senior years".
One way to possibly free up some cash in your budget:
If you've had your home/auto insurance with the same company for a few years, you might want to see an independent agent and have your coverage shopped around for a better deal. I did that recently, and ended up with more coverage, paying less for a year than I used to for six months.

Re: Saving Dottie!
Thanks so much for the advise. It is a struggle. We had some major vet expenses with her mom and siblings. We had money saved but with what was 10 mice....it is so hard to keep up with it. We bought what we thought was 3 girls from a pet shop and they were wrong. A familiar story I know. We have just the normal expenses of up keep with so many. However, we have made a quality life for each of them and they get all the love and attention they need between me, my husband, and my daughter. As a mouse mom..it is hard to try to make decision for them based on cost.
