Hey guys,
Have you ever had a mouse just grow so huge. One of my girls has grown so much bigger than the rest and I’m impressed and concerned. At first I thought “oh no is she pregnant is one a boy” but I’ve looked at all of them and no. I’ve had her months. And everything about her is big. Even her head is big. I will get a pic sometime for comparison. I feel like it’s overnight. Now admittedly she may be a bit spoiled with treats as they all are (not sugary treats per say but a sunflower seed here Cheerios and plain cereal there). But the other girls aren’t at all like her. My oldest is close. But.... she’s a beast.

Does she happen to have brindle patterning? They tend to have issues with obesity (nothing you can really change since mice need unlimited food at all times). My girl is a patched brindle and is also pretty huge; she’s about 20g larger than the others.

She is brindle! I had no idea that was an issue with brindle mice. Thank you for telling me that!
