Has anyone seen any of the Zooniversity videos of Teddy Bear the Porcupine? He was found as a newborn, abandoned, and was hand-raised so he's wholly bonded to humans and cannot be released into the wild. He's very vocal and responds when spoken to. This video shows him discovering pumpkins for the first time. Just way too cute!

OMG!!! That has to be the cutest thing I've ever seen and heard!! I want a Porcupine!!!!! Actually where I used to live, there was a mama and a baby porcupine in the tree out front. The mama let me walk right up to her - very docile. But didn't make any noise. I love porcupines. Thank you much for sharing!!

I've never seen a porcupine before actually... I knew they were spikey animals, so I imagined they looked like hedgehogs. My goodness, NOPE they look nothing like hedgehogs Laugh Very cute video though! Out of sheer curiosity - do you have wild hedgehogs in America?

Nope, hedgehogs are not native in the Americas or in Australia. Pet hedgehogs were just made legal here in Arizona last December and can be obtained from rescues or breeders.

There are over a dozen Teddy Bear videos on the Zooniversity site. One where he's eating corn on the cob and another where he's in the house at Christmas are insanely adorable!
