Is a URI contagious?
If one of my mice may have a URI, should I separate her from her sister? Thanks for your help!

@tkstefan URI's are almost always, if not always, contagious, although sometimes they will only affect a certain mouse (typically older, weaker, or otherwise less healthy/compromised mice).
However, since they're all living together, the others have probably already been exposed by the time you notice the illness - so some people argue that it's not worth separating them, since that would stress them out more (possibly making the illness worse due to stress).
I personally don't usually separate them, unless they are doing extremely poorly and I want to move them into a smaller / separate enclosure where I can monitor them more closely/administer medicine more easily/etc.
