Mice seem to have a round belly- problem? Empty Mice seem to have a round belly- problem?

I have 6 mice right now, 5 of them that came from the same breeder have very round bellies. I’ve had them almost a year now and know they aren’t pregnant. Could this be bloating or a parasite? Lately they’ve been having some loose stools, but their bellies have been like this a long time.
They also seem to scratch a lot, but there isn’t any hair loss.
One of the mice is much older and from the let store and she does not have a round belly but is the alpha. My previous mice did not have bellies like this either.
One of the breeder mice died a couple days ago with no explanation, she was smaller than the others and had no obvious damage to her body. I felt her belly and there was one hard lump (maybe a centimeter long) on one side of her belly. Not sure if that’s abnormal.
They all have great appetites and will sometimes drink for a minute or two from the bottle.

If there was a small hard lump in one of the breeder mice, my guess would be tumors. Perhaps taking at least one of the breeder mice to an exotic vet would help figure out what it is.

It wasn’t one big hard lump, it felt more like a couple of little hard chunks. My guess was it was a blockage in the intestines. But I’m not sure what may have caused it?
Are the round bellies overall a sign of a problem?
The exotic vets in my area are very expensive and far away. Since I’m not sure that they have a problem to begin with- I’m not sure that it’s worth it.

Maybe it is, but I don't know. If you've had them for over a year with no other major symptoms or problems, then perhaps it isn't a problem. Hopefully another member on here will have some better advice for you, and I hope your mice are okay! Until then, if another of the breeder mice dies without an explanation, then I would really begin to worry, but if they seem fine, you may not have to worry.
By the way, your profile picture is adorable!
