Mouse rearing head back and...wheezing (maybe)?
I took my mice out to play earlier, and I something strange happened when I put them back. Fiadh was sitting on top of her egg carton when this happened, so I got a good look at it. She was repeatedly rearing her head back and opening her jaws up, and letting out an every so faint squeak. So faint I might have just imagined it. She did this for maybe a minute. I was scared she had choked on something, but she was still breathing. Then, when she stopped, she hopped down and began to groom herself. Just normal grooming, but every once in a while her head would tilt like a puppy and she'd begin to scratch the side of herself that her head tilted. Whether or not she was just grooming strangely or it had to do with her head rearing, I don't know. I've never seen either of them do this before.
Is this normal? What was she doing? Should I be worried?

Sorry that no one had seen this behavior before. How has your mouse doing?

Thank you. She's doing perfectly fine now. She only did it that one time. I'm guessing she just got a little itch in her nose or something, lol.AmyLynn wrote:Sorry that no one had seen this behavior before. How has your mouse doing?
