Abcessed tooth?
Hi all, new to the group here and looking for some support.
I'm noticing that my boy, Thomas, seems losing weight, although I still observe him eating and drinking frequently.
This morning I did a check of his mouth and appears to me this could be an abscess on his lower mandible.
I have called numerous vets in my area and the soonest available appointment I could find was not until January..
Feeling scared for my boy and not sure what to do!

Re: Abcessed tooth?
If you can not get an appointment with a local vet try one that does telemedicine appointments that can prescribe antibiotic that can get called in to a pharmacy near you.

I also found this recent article and some of these services are temporarily free due to COVID-19. I have not tried them so please post about your experience if you do.
