pale droppings
pale droppings
I've noticed that some of the droppings my mice leave are pale and yellowish, although most are dark brown. I was wondering if I should be worried about the pale poop? It's not liquidy or anything, it seems like it's just the colour that's different, and again, only some of their poop is like that.

Re: pale droppings
Is it one mouse or more than one? What do they eat? Any new foods? Anything funny colored? Do they ever look bloated?
It could be upset bellies triggered by food or stress. Or parasites, or something natural like hormones. If they look kempt, a healthy weight, bright eyes, tall ears, and are active I personally wouldn’t worry too much.

Okay that's good to know. It's two mice who I got four days ago, so everything is very new for them right now and I wouldn't be surprised if it's because of that. They are definitely active and I haven't noticed anything else concerning so far. I've also noticed they're somewhat picky
(not big fans of milo or the little blocks that come mixed in with the higgins sunburst food), so food might be playing a part too.
