Do I keep my does together or not?
Do I keep my does together or not?
I have recently rehomed 2 female texels just before Christmas. Yesterday one doe gave birth to 2 healthy little beans, my other doe is yet to give birth. Should I seprate the doe yet to give birth or not?
I'm concerned that if I remove her that the other doe may not be able to supply enough milk for the 2 beans (I heard that this is not enough beans to keep stimulating milk production). Yet if I don't remove her the still pregnant does beans are at a disadvantage.

I would recomend seperating the two does. It can occur that mice will abondon or cannabalise their litter becasue they think that their litter is weak compared to the other. Even though they are differnt sizes becasue of age. (I hope that makes sense.)
