Digging area for hairless mice? Empty Digging area for hairless mice?

Any risk there? I always have coconut coir on hand and I think a dig box is usually pretty fun, but I wonder if it'd bother his eyes any. Confused

I think he'd likely be fine, if you're worried I'd just keep an eye on him.

Alternately, if you don't want to use the coco fiber, you could give him a digging area with crinkle paper, tissue paper, bedding, etc. instead? Especially if you use a wood based bedding, using the paper would give him some enrichment to experience a newer texture.

Though I don't think I'd worry about letting him dig in the coco fiber personally.
