I don’t know how to attach pictures so above is a link to some vids of her. I got her about a month ago with 2 of her sisters in PetCo. Her other sisters are both fine however with this mouse I’ve noticed she’s lost a lot of weight the past week or so and she’s breathing a lot more heavily and walking funny. Do the videos look normal for a mouse or should I get her checked out? This is my first time keeping mice so was wondering what advice people have or would suggest after seeing what she’s like. The others are completely fine and I can’t think what could be wrong.
Thanks Smile

She doesn't look normal, no. Weirdly enough, she walks almost exactly like my girl Maier did when she was very old...but yet, she looks young. I can't think of what would cause this. I would suggest some sort of deformity, but that wouldn't explain weight loss or labored breathing (though her breathing doesn't look especially worrisome to me).

Maybe someone more experienced would have advice, but she doesn't move like a normal mouse, unfortunately. Best of luck. <3

Even though I haven’t had mice, I thought she looked like my hamster when she was old so I get where your coming from like She hobbles around. It’s so strange! She was fine before. https://imgur.com/a/O1uJZ8y Here’s a vid of her on her wheel when I first got her. At least I know it’s not me over thinking it though and you see somethings odd too. She’s still eating and climbs around her tank and sleeps with the others. Just looks odd and moves funny. Thanks for your input though Smile very helpful

She looks hesitant. As if she might have hurt herself a bit or is unsteady on her feet. Dizzy, like from an ear infection? Have you weighed her recently. I would weigh her on a kitchen scale every day and keep track to tell if she is losing weight. She looks an OK weight now but if she's dropping she needs to see a vet.
