Azithromycin for mice?
Is Azithromycin safe for mice? How would it be dosed out? My male mouse has an upper respiratory infection and I have this on hand. It was originally give to my elderly cat and I happen to have some leftover.

Re: Azithromycin for mice?
While azithromycin has been used in a few mouse studies, it's not the typical treatment for a URI and there's likely good reason for that. Treatment usually consists of Baytril (enrofloxacin) and Doxycycline. You certainly could call your vet to ask about this, though. They might be willing to instruct you.
