Mouse missing
I bought two new mice yesterday and after some roaming time I put them back in their cage and went to sleep. Their cage is an ikea detolf but there is no roof, BC my last mice used it as well and was never able to escape. One of the mice managed to escape though, are there any tips on how to lure him back? I’m assuming he’ll come back on his own but I’m worried since we’re new to each other he might be too scared. Hes still very young as well.

Re: Mouse missing
One of my mice escaped as well. Luckily he didn't leave the room where I keep their bins.
Close the door, put some water on the floor so he doesn't die of dehydration, and get a humane mouse trap, something I've used successfully with a wild mouse in my house.
Put a few tasty seeds leading into the trap and maybe something tempting like a bit of cheese inside. These traps will not harm the mouse.
I caught my mouse this way in one night. Good luck!

Thank you! They were actually in the cage this whole time -_- I was so stressed looking for them. I found them deep under the bedding which I wasn’t expecting, I know mice like to burrow but my last mice never did. But thank you again!SarahAdams wrote:One of my mice escaped as well. Oh, good news!
I remember how stressed and panicked I was when I found one mouse missing.
