Hey Strangers!
It's been a while. A long while.
Hi! My name is Steph, live all the way in New Zealand. Long time "lurker" you could say since I'm still mouseless and have been a while but I still stop by here and there to see what everyone is up to - I'm one of the people who helped transfer all the information from TheFunMouse to here way back when
Anyway, as I said, still mouseless. My worlds been taken over by "special needs" birds and I run a doggy daycare so it's all a bit hectic but just thought I'd stop in and say hello, again!.
How's everyone been?

Re: Hey Strangers!
Thank you for coming back to visit. I, too, remain mouseless -- almost five years already -- and I have probably spilt most of what I know about good mousekeeping into the various forums here already. But I check in to try to keep sharp about various rodential topics.
Who knows -- with the occasional squirrel chase around and through my yard I may find myself administering a little emergency care one day. We have at least five of them this year that are various combinations of black, brown, tan, orange, and gray fur -- all with orange tails. The one with a black shoulder shawl, topped by an orange cap and ears seems to be trying to dominate, but the gray one with almond-shaped light orange spots on its rear flanks tries to stand its ground when I put some raw-nut trail mix down on the flat rock under the crabapple tree.
Unfortunately, they seem to have displaced the black squirrel with the unusually big head that's been around here for the last few years and was almost bold about how close it would get to me while I was peacefully doing yardwork or going in and out of the house. (It is a little smartie. It knows I have access to the magic bag of sunflower seed kernels.) I haven't seen that little one for weeks now, and I truly miss it. I hope the falcons haven't returned and perpetrated mayhem.
Cheers!
