Re: Cage size
A 20 gallon is much too small for mice, and definitely not for 5 unfortunately. I would recommend a minimum of a 40 gallon for 3-4 mice, though 5 might do okay in a 40 gallon. I would recommend larger if you can though for 5. I keep my 3 mice in a 750 square inch enclosure at college, and at home they get their 75 gallon tank (864 square inches) and I would not go any smaller for a permanent home. A 40 is okay, but even that size I've never had a mouse be totally happy in- they all showed stress behaviors in a fully enriched 40 gallon as they wanted to dig deeper than a 40 could allow. Your picture is also not showing up, not sure if that's an issue with the picture or on my end!
