Two female PEWs available for adoption soon - PA, CT, MA, NJ, etc
EDIT: these girls are super friendly now! They beg for treats and Flurry climbs onto our hands and enjoys spending time with us outside her enclosure. They will make some awesome friends for someone
I just rescued a couple of pet store feeder bin mice last night, and wanted to begin searching for their forever home! They will not be ready to be adopted for a good couple weeks as they are both sick with URIs but they've both begun medication and hopefully will be feeling better soon. After their two week course of antibiotics and another week or two to make sure they are healthy, they will be available. They currently are with me in PA for college, but I live in CT and my friend who rescued them is in MA, and we are willing to drive a bit to bring them to the best home they can get so I'm not picky about where an adopter lives right now as long as they can drive partway at least.
These girls were picked up last night along with several babies who lost their mother, and the babies sadly all passed but the adults are doing well. They are both PEWs, and around 3-4 months old. One, who we named Juniper, had all of her babies killed by another mouse, and the other girl, Flurry, helped her try to protect them. They then cared for the babies I picked up after their mother died, though neither were lactating so could not raise the babies sadly. When I got the babies for hand feeding, I was also given the two adults so they could find real homes instead their original fate as feeder mice. They are both very sweet, Juniper is already quite friendly and Flurry is skittish but I think she'll come around in no time!
I will add pictures once I manage to get some, but if anyone is interested in adopting please let me know! I do have care requirements, such as a minimum of a 40 gallon tank or larger cage, deep bedding for borrowing, a proper sized wheel, healthy diet, and access to an exotic vet when needed (and the willingness to bring them to the vet when needed). They also will need to join at least one other mouse so they have friends. If anyone thinks they might want to adopt them when they are healthy and ready to find a new home, please let me know!

Hi, I might be interested, but I don’t have another mouse that I could introduce them to right now. I have one mouse, Sundae, who’s a little aggressive and I wouldn’t want to put them in with, but they would be in the same room and able to see/smell each other. I would adopt three if you have them.
